PCT Day 112

Bushcamp to Bushcamp

31.2 miles

Miles 2182.0

I found it especially tough to convince myself to get moving this morning. I’d slept great, but I wanted more! Despite my bodies protest, I packed up and hit the trail by 5:30.

The day started by crossing a series of creeks before beginning a fairly long scent up Table Mountain.

Almost immediately upon reaching the top, the trail dove back down into rich jungle like forest.

I found these strange toys placed at the base of a tree…

Continuing on, I took a snack break at a large creek while waiting for Spikes to catch up.

The remainder of the day the trail measured somewhat aimlessly up and down mountain ridges.

This section of trail made little foot sense, often taking us in peculiar routes to avoid private land.

Just past 5 we reached our campsite beside Panther Creek. Situated on a decaying log, we enjoyed a hearty dinner before hitting the hay.

Cheers!
